New independent crypto newsroom builds public editorial-trust infrastructure before its first article, in a media landscape where undisclosed pay-for-coverage remains a documented problem.
Times of Crypto Era, a digital publication covering Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, DeFi and regulation, launched this month at timesofcryptoera.com. Its editorial approach centers on tracing every claim back to where it actually originated, a habit the team built into the site before its first article ever ran.

“We built the corrections policy and the sourcing standard before we built an audience,” said Martin, writer and editor at Times of Crypto Era. “That’s backwards from how a lot of sites do it, and we think that’s the point.”
The clearest early proof came from the site’s regulation coverage. Cointelegraph reported that South Korea’s Financial Services Commission was building its tokenized-securities roadmap on Avalanche. Times of Crypto Era checked the FSC’s own September press release directly and found the regulator never names a blockchain anywhere in the document. The site published that gap instead of repeating the claim, at timesofcryptoera.com/posts/south-korea-fsc-roadmap-tokenize-stocks-bonds-funds, alongside the rest of its regulation coverage at timesofcryptoera.com/regulation.
“Checking a primary source before publishing isn’t a new idea,” said Samiran, one of the site’s launch writers and the founder of the PR platform Pressefy and the News Coverage Agency. “It’s just one a lot of crypto coverage skips because it’s slower. We’d rather be slower and right.”
